Spent two years at Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College under head coach Jack Wright … Consensus four-star prospect by 247Sports, ESPN and Rivals … Rated as the No. 2 junior college prospect in the nation and the top JUCO player in Mississippi, as well as the top offensive tackle in the class by 247Sports … ESPN and Rivals listed him as the No. 5 JUCO product in the class, with ESPN naming him the No. 2 player at his position … Played seven games as a sophomore and five games as a freshman during his time at Mississippi Gulf Coast.
