2013 JUNIOR SEASON: Started at free safety in the season opener against Oklahoma State (8/31), making one tackle and recording one pass breakup … During the PBU in the first quarter, injured Achilles and missed the remainder of the game … Underwent surgery to repair Achilles and missed the final 12 contests of the year.
2012 SOPHOMORE SEASON: Played in all 13 games, including starting the last three regular season games at safety … Registered 32 tackles, 3.0 tackles for loss and two pass breakups, with all tackles for loss and pass breakups coming in the last four games … Tallied four tackles in the victorious road opener at Troy … Made a tackle in the wins versus South Alabama, at Kentucky and at home against Tennessee … Collected three solo tackles in the homecoming win over Middle Tennessee State … Made five tackles against Texas A&M, including one behind the line of scrimmage … Made first career start at LSU, recording a career-high 1.5 tackles for loss and a pass breakup to go along with three total tackles … Started at safety in the home finale against Arkansas, totaling a career-best seven tackles (four solo) and 0.5 tackles for loss in the win … Notched three tackles in the Egg Bowl ...
