2013 JUNIOR SEASON: Experienced action in 12 games with lone miss against Ole Miss in the regular-season finale ... Primarily played on special teams, but was also part of an offensive line that helped Mississippi State set a bevy of offensive records, including: most completions (253), highest completion percentage (.590), most passing yards (3,178), most passing yards per game (244.5), most touchdowns scored (48) and most yards of total offense (5,647) … Earned significant time as a reserve lineman against Alcorn State (9/7) to make collegiate debut and helped the offense to 556 total yards, tied for the ninth most in a game in program history.
2012 SOPHOMORE SEASON: Played in all 13 games during his sophomore campaign, seeing time on the offensive line and as a starter on field goals and extra points ... Played left tackle in reserve duty against Jackson State in the season opening win ... Saw time on the offensive line against Troy, South Alabama and Middle Tennessee.
2011 REDSHIRT FRESHMAN SEASON: Saw action in all 12 regular season games, starting on the field-goal and extra-point teams, as well as time in the second half of many wins as a reserve offensive lineman ... Blocked for a running back who finished fourth in the SEC in rushing, while giving up the fifth-fewest sacks in the league ... As a blocker, helped the 2011 squad reach the top 10 in school history for single-season marks in passing touchdowns, passing completions, total yards and first downs ... Helped the offense tally multiple rushing touchdowns in games against Memphis, Auburn, Kentucky, UT Martin, Ole Miss and Wake Forest ... Blocked for an offense that scored 50-plus points twice in the same season for the first time since 1914 (four), and only the third time in school history (1907, twice) ...
