
Athina Pitta and Gianna Oboniye Represent State at The ITA All-American Championships

Cary, N.C. – Athina Pitta and Gianna Oboniye are set to represent the Maroon and White at the ITA All-American Championships to open Mississippi State's fall tournament slate.
The Bulldogs will begin their first tournament of the fall season on Saturday, when Pitta and Oboniye take the court in the prequalifying rounds of doubles.
The duo enters the fall looking to build off a strong spring campaign. Pitta and Oboniye posted a 7-4 record together during the 2026 dual match season, including three victories over ranked opponents.
Following doubles action, Oboniye will begin her singles campaign on Monday in the qualifying rounds.
The ITA All-American Championships are scheduled for Sept. 19-27 in Cary, North Carolina. Live streaming and scoring will be available throughout the tournament through links provided by the ITA.
Prequalifying: Sept. 19-20
Qualifying: Sept: 21-22
