Bulldogs are Back on the Road

STARKVILLE – The Bulldogs are back on the road for the Ragin' Cajuns Classic in Lafayette, La. They will face Louisiana at 6 p.m. on ESPN+ Thursday before competing against Jackson State on Friday and UT Arlington on Saturday.

NOTES:

The Bulldogs extended their winning streak to five as they took down Alcorn and Memphis in straight sets in the Carrie Yerty Classic.
Entering the Ragin' Cajun Classic, Lindsey Mangelson is at 498 career kills, two kills away from reaching 500.
Mangelson looks to become the fastest Bulldog to reach 500 career kills at Mississippi State during the 25-point rally scoring era, as she would best Evie Grace Singleton's mark of 39 matches that she set in 2016, her second season at MSU.
The Bulldogs are ranked 1st in the SEC in digs per set with 15.00.
McKenna Yates is ranked 5th in the SEC in digs per set with 4.39.

Louisiana won their last match against Southeastern Louisiana.
Lolo Lambert leads the Ragin' Cajuns with 117 kills.

Mississippi State will face Louisiana for the 21st time as they hope to extend their five-game win streak.
