Mississippi State Set For NCAA Regionals

WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. – Mississippi State is set to begin play in the NCAA Winston-Salem Regional at Bermuda Run Country Club in Winston-Salem, North Carolina.

The Bulldogs are the No. 7 seed, joined by a field that includes four teams in the SCOREBOARD Top 25. State makes its eighth-consecutive NCAA Tournament appearance, which extends a program record.

NCAA Regional Team Lineup

Garrett Endicott (No. 1) – Senior – San Antonio, Tex.

Endicott holds down the No. 1 spot in Winston-Salem, coming off a 35th-place finish last month at the SEC Championship.

The senior has put together a stellar campaign with four top-10 finishes and eight top 20s. His 70.86 scoring average and 21 par-or-better rounds lead the team.

Dain Richie (No. 2) – Graduate – New Berlin, Ill.

Richie has played phenomenal golf in his last three events, compiling back-to-back-to-back top 10s with his first collegiate victory at the Mossy Oak Collegiate.

He most recently finished seventh at the SEC Championship last month and has put together eight rounds of par or better in his last nine rounds.

Jackson Skinner (No. 3) – Freshman – Birmingham, Ala.

The true freshman Jackson Skinner makes his 11th start of the season and has played solid golf in his last two events, finishing at 1-over in the Mossy Oak Collegiate and the SEC Championship with three par-or-better rounds in those tournaments.

Ugo Malcor (No. 4) – Senior – La Baule, France

Malcor has compiled top-20 finishes in his last three starts, including a 17th-place showing at the SEC Championship with an overall score of 5-under.

The senior has eight top 20s this season, tied for first on the team.

Jackson Cook (No. 5) – Freshman – West Point, Miss.

Cook makes his fourth-straight start in the fifth spot. The true freshman finished 45th at the Mossy Oak, including a 1-under 71 in round two.

He carded a second round of 70 at the SEC Championship for his best round as a Bulldog.
