GAINESVILLE, Fla. – Mississippi State women's tennis dropped a 4-1 decision on the road at No.15 Florida
The Bulldogs gained early momentum by collecting the doubles point with the help from courts one and two. No. 55 Chiara Di Genova/ Charlotte Kempenaers-Pocz started us off by earning a ranked win over Xinyi Nong/ Nikola Daubnerova, 6-4.
No. 52 Athina Pitta/ Gianna Oboniye secured the doubles point by earning a win over Brooke Black/ Valery Gynina, 7-5.
In singles play, Mississippi State battled across all courts, but Florida secured four singles victories to clinch the match.
