STARKVILLE – Mississippi State will hit the road for a nationally televised contest against the Arkansas Razorbacks inside Bud Walton Arena on Monday. Tipoff for the contest is set for 6:30 p.m. on SEC Network.

- Mississippi State got back in the win column in their last game with a victory over Georgia, 85-71, inside Humphrey Coliseum.
- Five Bulldogs finished the contest in double figures, the eighth time State has done so this season.
- Destiney McPhaul led the team with 18 points. She also led the team in assists (6), steals (4) and three-pointers made (4).
- Kharyssa Richardson and Madison Francis both added 17 points to the Bulldog cause. Francis added eight rebounds and rejected four shots, while Richardson corralled seven rebounds and went 7-7 from the charity stripe.
- Trayanna Crisp and Favour Nwaedozi each scored 11. Crisp went 3-3 from beyond the arch in the first half, and collected four assists and two steals, while Nwaedozi earned her 11th double-double with 12 rebounds.
- Francis was recently named to the 2026 Naismith Defensive Player of the Year Watchlist, one of four freshman in the nation to be named.
- Francis' is one of two players in the nation to have recorded both seven blocks and seven steals in a game this year. (Riley Goebel - UNI). Francis rejected seven shots against Charlotte and swiped seven steals against Alabama.
- Francis remains the SEC's block leader as a true freshman at 2.9 blocks per game, a mark which is third in the nation.
- She is the only player in the country to average at least 2.5 blocks and 1.5 steals
- Favour Nwaedozi is one of four players in the SEC to currently average a double-double.
- Nwaedozi has gained 11 double-doubles so far this year and is averaging 12.6 pionts per game and 10.3 rebounds per game.
- In conference play, Richardson is averaging a team-leading 13.5 points and 4.9 rebounds per game.
- Richardson has scored in double figures 11 times this season, the most in a single season in her career. Eight of those games have come during conference play
SCOUTING THE OPPONENT
- The Razorbacks have lost 12 straight games after starting the season 11-3.
- Taleyah Jones leads the team with 17.2 points per game. Bonnie Deas is a rebound shy of a double-double with 10.3 points and 8.1 rebounds.
- Jones shoots 40 percent from beyond the arch, tying Emily Robinson for the team lead in three-point percentage.
- Mississippi State leads the all-time series, 25-21.
