Charles Cross became the 27th Mississippi State alum to hoist the Lombardi Trophy as a Super Bowl champion this past Sunday.
Cross started at left tackle and logged all 72 offensive snaps in Seattle's 29-13 victory over New England in Super Bowl LX. The 6-foot-5, 317-pounder from Laurel posted the second-highest grade by an offensive lineman in the big game at 76.9 while also earning the third-best run blocking grade of 76.0 according to Pro Football Focus (PFF).
For the season, Cross had the highest pass blocking grade by Seahawks offensive lineman at 79.2.
The former first-round draft pick (ninth overall) by Seattle in 2022 was the 63rd Bulldog to reach the Super Bowl all-time with MSU players claiming 31 total titles.
