State Completes Second Round Of Darius Rucker Intercollegiate

HILTON HEAD, S.C. – After two rounds at Long Cove Club, the Mississippi State Bulldogs sit in 13th at 33-over par.

Samantha Whateley continues to lead the Bulldogs, as she sits at a two-day total at 1-over par. She enters the final round of the tournament 1-over par and tied for seventh. She shot 1-under par on the back nine, including a pair of birdies.

Avery Weed closed out the round on a positive note, carding two birdies in her final two holes, ending the day 3-over par.

The Bulldogs will conclude the Darius Rucker Intercollegiate on Wednesday. Tee times start at 7:20 a.m. Live scoring for the tournament is available at scoreboard.clippd.com, and will be broadcasted on NBC's Golf Channel beginning at 1:30.
