Bulldogs Conclude Darius Rucker Intercollegiate

HILTON HEAD, S.C. – No. 14 Mississippi State completed play at the Darius Rucker Intercollegiate on Wednesday, carding a team score of 26-over 310. The Bulldogs finished the event 15th overall.

Avery Weed and Samantha Whateley led the Bulldogs with a pair of 6-over 77's. For the second-consecutive round, Weed finished with two birdies. Whateley finished the tournament in a tie for 21st.

The Dawgs were rounded out by three rounds of 7-over 78 from Ana Pina Ortega, Chiara Horder, and Izzy Pellot.

State will return to the Palmetto State on March 17-18 at the Old Barnwell Match Play in Aiken, South Carolina.
