March 16, 2025 | Men's Golf
TUCSON, Ariz. – No. 22 Mississippi State men's golf looks to win back-to-back tournaments in the desert at the Arizona Thunderbirds Intercollegiate. The 7,006-yard, par-72 Tucson Country Club hosts 13 teams on March 17-18. Two rounds will be played on Monday with the final round on Tuesday.
Â
The Bulldogs were victorious at the Desert Mountain Collegiate in their most recent event and rose five spots in the latest SCOREBOARD Top 25. They are joined by ranked teams No. 10 Utah and No. 25 Arizona in this week's field.
Â
"This will be a great test for us this week," head coach Dusty Smith said. "The golf course is in great shape and very firm. It will be a fun challenge for us. Our focus this week is to continue to embrace the journey we are on. We know what we are capable of, but we also know what is required to be at our very best. We look to be locked in on our process this week, compete hard, and to have fun out there."
Â
The Dawgs notched their first victory since 2023 last week and the sixth under Smith. The same lineup will start in Tucson – Garrett Endicott (No. 1), Josep Serra (No. 2), Dain Richie (No. 3), Ugo Malcor (No. 4), and Drew Wilson (No. 5). Harrison Davis will compete as an individual.
Â
