STARKVILLE – The Mississippi State Bulldogs (11-1) are set to play their last game before the Christmas break when they travel to Philadelphia, Pennsylvania to take on the La Salle Explorers on Saturday. Tipoff is scheduled for 11 a.m. CT on ESPN+.

- The Bulldogs extended their winning streak to seven games after defeating the Alabama State Hornets in their last contest, 105-57.
- Madison Francis joined the likes of WNBA First Round Draft Picks Rickea Jackson, Latoya Thomas and Victoria Vivians as Bulldog freshmen to score 30 or more points in a single game.
- Francis shot 12-16 from the floor, including a season-best two makes from distance, and collected 10 rebounds, four blocks and three steals.
- Favour Nwaedozi collected her second straight 20+ point performance against the Hornets, as she finished with 20 points on 8-9 shooting and six rebounds.
- Chandler Prater secured her third straight double double with 10 points and 11 rebounds. Prater has now collected eight double doubles in her career, with her last three being her only three in the Maroon and White.
- Kharyssa Richardson returned against Alabama State with a season-high 15 points and five rebounds.
- Jaylah Lampley collected 12 points in 30 minutes off the bench. Lampley has scored 10 or more in six of the Bulldogs' 12 contests this season.
- Under head coach Sam Purcell, State is 48-6 in regular season non-conference play.
