STARKVILLE – Mississippi State (9-1) is set to square off with in-state foe Southern Miss (7-3) for the 48th time in program history on Sunday. The Bulldogs and Lady Eagles will tip off at 2 p.m. CT inside Humphrey Coliseum on SEC Network+.

- Six Bulldogs scored in double-figures against Charlotte, marking the second time the Bulldogs have done such this season.
- Favour Nwaedozi and Destiney McPhaul led State with 16 points in the contest. Nwaedozi collected her fourth double double of the season.
- Chandler Prater collected her first double double in the Maroon and White, finishing the contest with 14 points and 13 rebounds.

- Missy Bilderback is in her first season at Southern Miss after previously serving as the head of the ULM women's basketball team.
- Last season, the Bulldogs earned a 78-70 victory over Bilderback's Warhawks in Monroe.
- Southern Miss brought in nine transfers ahead of this season. Five of those played under Bilderback at ULM. Three of the nine transferred from SEC programs, including Arkansas transfer Carly Keats, who leads the team with 13.0 points per game.
