STARKVILLE – The Mississippi State women's basketball wrap up a three-game week on Sunday, when they take on Mississippi Valley State inside Humphrey Coliseum on Sunday. Tipoff is set for 2 p.m. on SEC Network+.

NOTES:

The Mississippi State Bulldogs moved to 2-0 after defeating the Georgia State Panthers, 88-62, on Friday.
Favour Nwaedozi collected her second double-double in as many games, scoring a career-high 17 alongside 10 rebounds.
The junior went 7-10 on the floor during the contest.
Nwaedozi was one of five Bulldogs to finish the game in double figures. Destiney McPhaul, Jaylah Lampley, Madison Francis and Awa Fane all scored 10 or more.
Trayanna Crisp distributed the ball effectively, picking up a team-high six assists.
This will be the 23rd time the two teams face off, with the Bulldogs leading the series 20-2.
In their last meeting, the Bulldogs walked away with a 99-35 victory inside Humphrey Coliseum.
State is currently on a 14-game winning streak against Mississippi Valley.

SCOUTING THE OPPONENT – MISSISSIPPI VALLEY STATE

Valley dropped their season-opener at Troy University, 95-50.
Jaeda Murphy led the scoring in the contest, finishing with 11 points. She was the only player to reach double figures.
