STARKVILLE – Mississippi State women's basketball will depart Humphrey Coliseum for the first time this season to take on Texas Tech inside United Supermarkets Arena on Thursday. Tipoff for the contest is set for 6 p.m. CT on ESPN+.

Mississippi State is 45-7 in non-conference action under head coach Sam Purcell
The Bulldogs have won their last eight non-conference games, with two of those coming on the road.
Mississippi State took down Jackson State in their last contest, 82-55.
Favour Nwaedozi led the team in points (18), rebounds (15), assists (4) and FTs made (6). Her performance was her third double-double of the season.
Nwaedozi is looking for her fifth-consecutive game with 10+ rebounds, which would make her the first Bulldog to do such in five straight games since Teaira McCowan.
Jaylah Lampley collected a career-high 17 points on 7-8 shooting from the field. She knocked down a pair of triples in the contest, tying for the team lead in makes from deep.
Four other Bulldogs finished in double-figures against Jackson State: Trayanna Crisp (12), Madison Francis (11), Destiney McPhaul (10) and Chandler Prater (10).
The Bulldogs are averaging 25.0 free throws a game, a mark that ranks fourth in the SEC.
State averages 7.8 blocks per game, a mark that is second in the SEC and seventh nationally.
