Bulldogs Head to Tennessee for Mason Rudolph Championship

STARKVILLE – The Mississippi State Bulldogs head to Franklin Tennessee to compete in their second tournament of the season, the Mason Rudolph Championship. The tournament is set to begin on Friday, September 20 and conclude on Sunday, September 22.

State enters the Mason Rudolph Championship after making their season debut at the Carmel Cup. The Bulldogs finished third place in the field. Julia Lopez Ramirez earned a third place finish after finishing the tournament at 4-under par. Lopez Ramriez leads off the lineup again for the Bulldogs this weekend.

Avery Weed sits in the Bulldog's second spot. The sophomore from Ocean Springs finished right outside of the top 10 in the Carmel Cup, finishing eleventh at 5-over. Chiara Horder shoots third in the lineup, coming off a 15th place finish last tournament.

Samantha Whateley and Izzy Pellot round out the Bulldog lineup. Whateley concluded the Carmel Cup with her second career top-20 finish, as she shot 2-under in the final round. Izzy Pellot finished in the top 20 as well, as she finished 19th. Surapa Janthamunee and Ana Pina Ortega will compete in the Mason Rudolph Championship as individuals.
