State Soccer Kicks Off 2024 Journey With Exhibition Trip To Kennesaw State

Kennesaw, Ga. – Mississippi State Soccer is set for an exciting start to the 2024 season with a road test at Kennesaw State in exhibition play.
The Dawgs will take on the Owls on Aug. 3 at 4 p.m. CT inside Fifth Third Stadium in a rematch of a 2023 exhibition match in Starkville where State captured a 3-0 victory.
The exhibition match against Kennesaw State serves as a prelude to what promises to be an action-packed season for State soccer. MSU will return home for one final tune-up exhibition when they take on ULM on Aug. 9 at 6:30 p.m. CT before opening its 2024 campaign with a major fixture with Baylor on Aug. 15 at 6:30 p.m. CT.
The Bulldogs are coming off a 12-6-5 record that resulted in a postseason run to the Sweet 16 for the first time in program history.
