Bulldogs Earn 2024 AVCA Team Academic Award

LEXINGTON, Ky – The Mississippi State volleyball team was named a recipient of the AVCA Team Academic Award presented by Intent, the American Volleyball Coaches Assocation announced.Â
A record number of teams received the award this season, ranging from division one to high school volleyball teams. To receive the award, the program must have maintained a 3.30 or higher grade point average throughout the 2023-24 academic year. Â
The Bulldogs saw 15 student-athletes above a 3.3 grade point average. State is one of 11 SEC programs to be recognized, as they joined Alabama, Arkansas, Florida, Georgia, LSU, Missouri, Ole Miss, South Carolina, Tennessee and Texas.
