State Falls At No. 7 Georgia On Friday

ATHENS, Ga. – Mississippi State fell at seventh-ranked Georgia 7-0 on Friday at the Dan Magill Tennis Complex.

It was the 10^th consecutive ranked opponent MSU has faced to start Southeastern Conference play. Of UGA's eight wins on the afternoon, five were by ranked competitors.

The victory improved Georgia to 14-4 overall and 9-1 in the SEC. State dropped to 10-13 overall and 0-10 in league action.

Up next for Chris Hooshyar's Bulldogs is another ranked road test at No. 18 Tennessee at noon CT on Sunday. The Vols (14-6, 6-4 SEC) shutout 34th-ranked Ole Miss 4-0 on Friday.
