Bulldogs Fall to Rebels In Series Finale

OXFORD, Miss - The Mississippi State Diamond Dawgs were defeated by the Ole Miss Rebels 14-2 in game three of the series.
Evan Siary drew the start on the mound for Mississippi State. In two innings of work, he picked up two strikeouts and gave up five hits and three earned runs. Cole Cheatham came in from the bullpen and had some success. In two innings of work, he gave up only hit and one earned run while striking out two.
Hunter Hines led the way at the plate for the Bulldogs. He went 1-for-3 with an RBI double. Logan Kohler also recorded an RBI with a bases loaded walk.
Mississippi State is back home at Dudy Noble Field on Tuesday to take on Alcorn State. First pitch is set for 6 p.m., and the game will be broadcast on SECN+.
