Bulldogs are back in action Tuesday against Ole Miss
The Diamond Dawg offense stayed hot today, scoring eleven runs for the second day in a row and 10+ runs for the fourteenth time this season. As a squad, the Bulldogs were 9-19 (.474) when hitting with two outs in Sunday's contest.
Five Bulldogs finished with multi-hit days. Kellum Clark picked up four hits on the day while picking up two RBIs. Hunter Hines picked up his 18th home run of the season on a 2-for-3 day. Hines finished with 3 RBIs in the contest. Colton Ledbetter and Amani Larry both went 2-for-5 with a pair of doubles. Ledbetter drove in 2 RBIs and also reached on a walk. Dakota Jordan also had a two-hit day.
Jurrangelo Cijntje started the day on the bump for the Bulldogs and struck out six Tigers in five innings, allowing only one walk. The six strikeouts marked the sixth time Cijtnje has struck out five or more batters this season.
The Bulldogs are back in action on Tuesday as they travel to Pearl, Miss. to take on Ole Miss in the Governor's Cup. First pitch is scheduled for 6 p.m.
Kellum Clark singled through the left side to score Mershon, then advanced to third on an error that scored Jordan.
