STARKVILLE – The Mississippi State women's basketball team will be in Greenville, S.C., to compete for a championship in the SEC Tournament. The tournament runs March 1-5 and will be played at the Bon Secours Wellness Arena. The Bulldogs will take on Texas A&M in their first game following the Aggies win over Vanderbilt on Wednesday.

• Mississippi State, who finished the regular season tied for 5th in the SEC Standings, was predicted to finish tied for 5th by the League's head coaches in the preseason poll and was predicted to finish 8th by the SEC media in the preseason media poll.
