Diamond Dawgs Set for Eight National Broadcasts

STARKVILLE – The Southeastern Conference and ESPN have announced the television coverage for the 2023 baseball season, with Mississippi State slated for at least eight appearances on the ESPN family of networks.
The SEC schedule opens on March 17 when the Diamond Dawgs head to Lexington, Kentucky to face the Kentucky Wildcats. The series finale against the Wildcats will be the Dawgs first time in front of a national audience as they will play at 11 a.m. on the SEC Network.
The next national broadcast will originate from Dudy Noble Field at Polk-Dement Stadium when the Diamond Dawgs host South Carolina in SEC action. The series opener on March 30 will be aired on the SEC Network with first pitch slated for 6 p.m.
When the Maroon and White head to Tuscaloosa, Alabama for a three-game set in league play, the second game of the series will be aired on ESPNU. The April 8 matchup will have a first pitch slated for 5 p.m.
The Diamond Dawgs will host Ole Miss the following weekend and the second game of the series will be aired on SEC Network. The Saturday contest, April 15, has a first pitch slated for 3 p.m.
The Dawgs will see two of their three games in Knoxville, Tennessee aired on national television. The first game of the series on April 27 can be seen on SEC Network at 6 p.m. The third and final game of the series is slated for a 1 p.m. first pitch on Saturday, April 29 on ESPNU.
The second game of the Dawgs series against the Arkansas Razorbacks is slated for a 6:30 p.m. first pitch with action being seen on ESPNU.
MSU will close out its national broadcast schedule when they travel to Baton Rouge, Louisiana. The series opener against LSU is slated for a 7:30 p.m. start on SEC Network.
The last planned national TV broadcast is set for Friday, May 12, as the Diamond Dawgs travel to face LSU at 7:30 p.m. on SEC Network.
The final weekend of the regular season will feature a select number of wildcard matchups, with Mississippi State hosting Texas A&M May 18-20 (Thursday-Sunday) for its final three games of the regular season.
Along with the eight national broadcasts, Mississippi State will air each of its non-linear games on SEC Network+, which is available online and through the ESPN App and ESPN.com/watch. The broadcast schedule is subject to change.
