Volleyball Opens SEC Play At Home Versus Georgia
September 20, 2022 | Volleyball
STARKVILLE – Mississippi State's volleyball team begins its conference slate with Georgia (9-2) inside the Newell-Grissom Building. First serve is set for Wednesday at 7 p.m. CT and will be televised nationally by the SEC Network.Â
Â
"Last season we went five sets with Georgia at their place," head coach Julie Darty Dennis said. "I know that it's always going to be a dog fight with them. They are a well-coached team, and they are super disciplined in the system that they play. We need to come in and set the tone with everything we do starting with the service line and serve receive. A clean slate starting SEC is always fun and this is a great opportunity for us to really go back to who we are and really set the tone."
