Mississippi State Completes 2022 Season at NCAA South Regional

HUNTSVILLE, Ala. – Mississippi State's cross country team put the finishing touches on its 2022 racing season when it competed at the NCAA South Regional in Huntsville, Alabama.

The Bulldogs finished the race in 21^st with a total of 626 points. Alabama won the regional after compiling 34 points.

Madison Jones led the way for MSU, finishing inside the top-100 after crossing the line in 21:45.0 to finish in 87^th. Hayley Ogle (22:11.3) and Mary Beth Woodward (22:26.0) finished 118^th and 130^th, respectively, in a field that featured 231 competitors.

Gracie Gibson (22:41.5 – 144^th), Savannah McIntosh (22:45.3 – 150^th), Hunter Anderson (23:03.1 – 169^th) and Zoe Brito (23:10.5 – 174) also competed for Mississippi State.
