ATHENS, Ga. – Mississippi State women's golf placed 12th after the final round of the Liz Murphey Collegiate Classic on Sunday.
Ashley Gilliam tied for 16th after shooting a 5-over par 77 in the final round to lead the Dawgs. Sophomore Abbey Daniel posted the squad's best round for the second day in a row, shooting 4-over 76 to move into a tie for 22nd place.
Redshirt junior Hannah Levi and senior Blair Stockett shot 9-over 81 on the last day of the event. Levi placed tied for 55th, while Stockett tied for 68th. Graduate Clara Moyano finished the tournament tied for 75th.
The Bulldogs will return to the course in April to compete in the LSU Tiger Golf Classic in Baton Rouge, Louisiana.
