Bulldogs Wrap Play At Tallahassee 15K

TALLAHASSEE, Fla. – Mississippi State's time at the ITF Tallahassee 15K came to an end on Tuesday.
After winning their first round singles qualifying matches on Monday, Carles Hernandez and No. 92 Alberto Colas both lost in the second round to conclude their play at the tournament.
Both Hernandez and Colas battled hard in their first sets but came up short in the tiebreaker. Hernandez lost 7-6(2), 6-3 to Canadian Christian Lakoseljac while Colas fell to Francisco Rocha of Portugal 7-6(2), 6-0.
"Today was a great chance to learn about how to problem solve and make adjustments as sets come down to the wire at the end," said MSU assistant coach Jake Jacoby. "The more mentally tough we can be throughout matches, the better we will execute and have more success in those moments. Alberto and Carles will be better players from today's experience."
Next up for the Bulldogs is another ITF 15K event in Fayetteville, Arkansas on Nov. 1-7.
