
ESPN’s Fall Slate to Include MSU Soccer and Volleyball

STARKVILLE – Mississippi State's soccer and volleyball programs will participate in a total of nine nationally-televised events this fall, ESPN announced Monday (Sept. 14) afternoon.
The MSU volleyball team will play five of its eight matches on ESPN's family of networks, while MSU soccer will have four televised matches. All other MSU volleyball and soccer competitions can be seen on SEC Network+.
The Mississippi State soccer team's season opener on the road against Auburn on Friday (Sept. 18) can be seen on SEC Network at 6 p.m. CT. MSU soccer will play eight contests this fall followed by the SEC Championship, Nov. 13-22, in Orange Beach, Alabama, with two guaranteed matches.
MSU volleyball will open its fall with a two-match series at home against Arkansas Saturday and Sunday, Oct. 17-18. The Sunday match at noon will be televised on ESPNU. Additionally, both matches of State's season finale series against reigning SEC Champion Kentucky, Nov. 12-13, will be shown on SEC Network. The Bulldogs are set to play eight total matches split into four series over a six-week period.
