State Tennis Squads Once Again Earn Team/Individual Academic Honors From ITA

STARKVILLE – Continuing Mississippi State's commitment to academic excellence, the MSU men's and women's tennis programs earned team and individual academic honors from the Intercollegiate Tennis Association for the 2019-20 season, the ITA announced Monday.
Both squads earned ITA All-Academic Team honors by meeting the required 3.20 cumulative grade-point average, while several Bulldog players earned individual honors from the ITA.
Coach Matt Roberts' men's squad posted an impressive 3.71 cumulative GPA for the year, as the program earned its 12th-straight and 19th overall ITA All-Academic Team honor in its history.
Daryl Greenan's women's team was right behind them, recording a remarkable 3.70 team GPA in 2019-20 on its way to earning the ITA team laurel for the 11th-consecutive season and 21st time overall.
Individually, both teams had multiple players named ITA Scholar Athletes.
For State's men, Isaac Becroft (management), Florian Broska (management), Alberto Colas (undeclared), Jonas Hartenstein (public relations), Nicolas Ocana (industrial engineering), Giovanni Oradini (kinesiology), Gregor Ramskogler (sport administration) and Davide Tortora (undeclared) each earned the individual honor from the ITA.
For the women's squad, Magda Adaloglou (psychology), Emma Antonaki (management), Marta Falceto (undeclared), Sara Lizariturry (psychology), Alex Mikhailuk (criminology), Valeria Nikolaev (clinical exercise psychology), Tamara Racine (fashion design and merchandising) and Meredith Roberts (marketing) were named to the ITA Scholar Athlete list.
