COLLEGE STATION, Texas – Three Bulldogs etched their name in the MSU record books, while two improved their already-top 5 marks Friday, on day one of the SEC Indoor Championships in College Station, Texas.
"Today went about as good as it could go," head coach Chris Woods said. "We had surprises, we had people score aready, we're on the board on both the men's and women's side and people are stepping up all over the place. We have to keep the momentum that we garnered today going into tomorrow. We have several individuals that made the finals so that means we have several opportunities to score more points for our team. I'm excited for what tomorrow has in store. The energy around the program has been great so we need to keep that up."
The multis continued their successful 2020 indoor campaign in the heptathlon and pentathlon to open the meet.
