STARKVILLE – Riding a four-match win streak to open the 2020 season, the No. 21 Mississippi State men's tennis team is set for its first road test of the year, traveling to Tallahassee, Florida, to take on Florida State Sunday.
The Bulldogs (4-0) will face the Seminoles (3-0) at 1 p.m. ET Sunday afternoon. Live scoring will be available for Sunday's match-up. Fans can also follow along at @HailStateMT on Twitter for the latest updates on all matches.
"We are excited for our first road trip this spring and to have Florida State on our schedule for the next three years, "MSU head coach Matt Roberts said. "With such a young team this year, we see this road match as a great opportunity to push ourselves early in the season. The quicker the young guys can acclimate to a hostile road environment, the quicker we develop as a team. I say pressure makes diamonds and this match should give us many opportunities to execute under pressure."

The Bulldogs are currently ranked 21st nationally. This ranking marks the fourth straight year MSU has opened a season among the nation's Top 25. In the ITA national singles ranking, two-time All-American Giovanni Oradini leads the Bulldogs at No. 15 in the country. True freshman Davide Tortora leads the next generation of Bulldogs at No. 101st.
