Preseason Camp is Here, Single Game Tickets on Sale

STARKVILLE – With football season less than a month away, Mississippi State reported for preseason camp on Thursday.

Coach Joe Moorhead's squad moved into residence halls during the afternoon and will go through their first official practice on Friday evening. All practices and scrimmages during preseason camp are closed to the public.

Thursday's schedule was highlighted by equipment fitting, orientation and a joint team meeting.

The Bulldogs will practice four times before going full pads on Aug. 7, followed by their first scrimmage on Aug. 10. The second year of the Moorhead era will get underway on Aug. 31 against Louisiana in New Orleans.

State, led by team captains Erroll Thompson and Darryl Williams, came in at No. 19 in Sporting News' updated preseason top 25 for 2019 this week. The Bulldogs return 49 letterwinners, including 13 starters from last season.

Tickets for the 2019 season can be purchased at HailState.com/Tickets, by calling 1-888-GO-DAWGS or in person at the MSU Athletic Ticket Office on the first floor of the Bryan Athletic Administration Building (288 Lakeview Drive), Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
