Brandon Langlois is in his eighth year at Mississippi State and serves as the department's Senior Associate Athletics Director for Communications and Creative.
Langlois oversees the Bulldogs’ communications, media relations and creative content efforts for all sports, while serving as the department’s spokesperson and main communications contact for head football coach Jeff Lebby and the football program.
A 2015 graduate of MSU, Langlois returned to his alma mater in August 2018 as an associate director of communications working with the Bulldog football program. From 2018-19, he served as State’s day-to-day contact for football communications, including student-athletes and assistant coaches. He was named MSU's Associate Athletic Director for Communications in March 2020.
A native of Madison, Mississippi, Langlois oversaw the successful promotion of first-team All-SEC choice Kylin Hill in 2019, as well as four MSU All-Americans in 2019, including Elgton Jenkins and first-round NFL Draft selections Jeffery Simmons, Montez Sweat and Johnathan Abram.
Before returning to MSU, Langlois spent three years in the athletic communications office at the University of Arkansas. Initially hired as the third communications contact for football in 2015, he was elevated to the secondary role for the 2016 and 2017 seasons.
In February 2018, Langlois took over the direction of Arkansas’ football communications as the interim primary contact. He coordinated all media availabilities and implemented consistent messaging and branding for the football program throughout the spring season.
During his time in Fayetteville, Langlois led the promotion of Frank Ragnow to All-America honors in 2016 and 2017 and helped create national exposure for the eventual 2018 first-round NFL Draft pick. He also played an integral role in the publicity of consensus All-American and John Mackey Award winner Hunter Henry in 2015.
As a student at MSU, Langlois assisted with football communications during the program’s run to a No. 1 ranking in 2014. He also helped coordinate game day social media coverage for multiple sports. He earned his bachelor’s degree in communication with concentrations in public relations, journalism and broadcasting.
