Allen posts two-hit day, Rowdey Jordan drives in two RBIs in loss to Razorbacks
FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. – A scoreless game was broken up in the fifth, with Arkansas scoring 10 runs between the fifth and seventh innings, as the No. 3 Mississippi State baseball program fell in the series finale, 10-2, on Saturday (April 20) afternoon at Baum-Walker Stadium.
After MSU starting pitcher JT Ginn allowed just two base runners over the first four innings, Arkansas pushed a run across with a pair of singles in the fifth. The Razorbacks scored eight runs in the sixth inning against three Bulldog pitchers and added a run in the seventh to push out to a 10-0 lead. Sophomore Rowdey Jordan plated a pair of runs in the ninth inning to account for the 10-2 final.
Ginn (7-2) threw five innings and allowed three runs – two earned – on five hits. He walked two and struck out four in the loss.
At the plate, sophomore Tanner Allen reached base three times, going 2-for-3 with a walk and a run scored. Freshman Hayden Jones added a hit in a pinch-hit appearance in the ninth inning and scored a run. Sophomore Rowdey Jordan singled and drove in two RBIs in the game.

Trysten Barlow entered the game and got a ground out, before a walk loaded the bases and a hit-by-pitch pushed the first run of the inning across. After an error allowed two more runs two score, Nesbit hit a three-run home run. A walk followed and Trevor Ezell doubled to plate the seventh run of the frame, before an RBI groundout from Matt Goodheart capped the scoring.
