Mississippi State and Arkansas will open the three-game series on Thursday, April 18 at 6:30 on ESPNU
STARKVILLE – A top-10 road test awaits the No. 3 Mississippi State baseball program this week at Baum-Walker Stadium against No. 10 Arkansas. The series will begin with a nationally-televised contest on ESPNU Thursday (April 18) at 8 p.m. evening between the Diamond Dawgs and Razorbacks.

Clay Matvick and Chris Burke will call the action starting at 8 p.m. CT on Thursday night's ESPNU telecast, before Mississippi State ( will meet at 6:30 p.m. CT on Friday (April 19) and 2 p.m. CT on Saturday (April 20). All three games will be available via the Mississippi State Radio Network, while the final two games of the season can be seen on SEC Network+.

The two teams have 104 times prior to this weekend's three-game set, with Mississippi State owning a 56-48 edge. Over the last 25 meetings, State owns a 13-12 edge in the series, with just one of those contests featuring a team with double-digit runs.

Clear Bag Policy
Fans can bring in one (1) clear bag (no larger than 12" x 6" x 12") AND one small clutch purse (no larger than 4.5" x 6.5", the size of the palm of your hand, with or without a handle or strap). All bags and purses not meeting the above requirements will not be permitted. Although permitted, childcare items, including diapers, must also be carried in an approved clear bag.
Parking
Public parking is available in designated areas in the Baum East Parking Lot (east of the Stadium). All lots will open four (4) hours before first pitch.

Free public parking is also available in Lot 99 on Beechwood Avenue. Please note that there is an additional entrance/exit to Lot 99 off of Hollywood avenue.

- The recent history of the series is rather close, as well, with State claiming 13 of the last 25 meetings and owning a 6-4 mark in the last 10.
- The first meeting came between the two programs in 1960, with Mississippi State winning a one run contest, 3-2, in Monroe, Louisiana.
- Mississippi State has the longest winning streak of the series at 10 games, winning the first 10 contests (1960-1983) between the two programs.
- Arkansas' longest winning streak has been six games, claiming those contests between 1998-1999.
