Children’s of Mississippi Kid Coach of the Week: Andrew Cross
April 11, 2019 | Baseball
Kid Coach is a partnership between Children's of Mississippi and the Mississippi State Bulldogs to salute pediatric patients. This week's Children's of Mississippi Kid Coach is Andrew Cross of Brandon, Mississippi.
When he was two years old, Andrew was diagnosed with leukemia. Over the next three years, he was treated by pediatric cancer specialists at Children's Cancer Center.
Thanks to expert care from his team at Blaire E. Batson, Andrew is now a cancer-free, healthy and happy eight year old. He loves going to school, reading books, and playing baseball!
Have fun at Saturday's game, Andrew! Your friends at Children's of Mississippi are cheering for you!
