Thirty Bulldogs Earn Degrees at Fall Graduation

STARKVILLE – Mississippi State student-athletes enjoyed a successful fall semester in the classroom as a total of 243 Bulldogs received honor roll recognition, while 30 earned their degrees.
For the fifth consecutive semester, MSU all-sport scholarship student-athletes recorded a cumulative grade point average over a 3.0 with a 3.08. Men's and women's tennis each led the way with a 3.59 followed closely by women's golf with a 3.58.
Baseball produced its overall highest GPA since 2013 with a 3.27. Nine men's golf student-athletes posted over a 3.00 GPA to pace the team with a 3.29 overall mark this semester. Men's track and field logged a 3.22 GPA, while soccer tallied a 3.31 mark. A total of 17 softball student-athletes registered over a 3.00 GPA to push the team's semester figure to 3.25. Women's track and field finished with a 3.32 with 38 earning honor roll accolades.
In addition, 48 Bulldogs received Top Dawg honors this semester with a perfect GPA of 4.0.
