STARKVILLE, Miss. – Looking to improve on a 10-2 home record, the 32nd-ranked Mississippi State's women's tennis team (15-7, 6-5 SEC) hosts No. 7 Georgia (12-5, 7-3 SEC) for a Saturday afternoon matchup. The match is slated for 1 p.m. CT at the A.J. Pitts Tennis Centre and admission is free.
Due to MSU's men's match with Arkansas being rescheduled for 10 a.m. Saturday, the women's match could start at a later time. Follow @HailStateWT on Twitter for updates on the match's status.

The Bulldogs outlasted a late surge by Tennessee for an important 4-2 home decision on Thursday. MSU established an early lead after the 87th-ranked duo of Madison Harrison and Khrystyna Vozniak, along with the tandem of Magda Adaloglou and Janina Braun, clinched the doubles point for State.
Senior Madison Harrison was first off the courts in singles with a convincing straight-set triumph at No. 1. Junior Anastasia Rentouli battled for her own straight-set victory on court 4 to improve to 13-3 in dual match action. True freshman Magda Adaloglou clinched her third match of the season with a three-set win on court 3, securing the 4-2 victory.

No. 7 Georgia fell in a tough 4-3 decision to No. 9 Ole Miss in Oxford Friday night in their latest outing. The Bulldogs of Athens boast three ranked singles players in No. 8 Katarina Jokic, No. 57 Kennedy Shaffer and No. 86 Marta Gonzalez. In doubles, UGA has two ranked doubles tandems in No. 8 Elena Christofi and Morgan Coppoc and No. 18 Jokic and Mariana Gould.
