No. 2 MSU Seeks Outright SEC Title Sunday Against No. 17 Aggies

STARKVILLE, Miss. – After clinching at least a share of the program's first Southeastern Conference championship, No. 2 Mississippi State seeks to claim the title outright Sunday as it hosts No. 17/18 Texas A&M for the program's annual "Think Pink" game.
Fans are encouraged to wear pink to the 4 p.m. tip at a sold-out Humphrey Coliseum. Doors open at 2 p.m.
ESPN2 will televise the game nationally, with Courtney Lyle and Steffi Sorensen on the call. Jason Crowder and Charlie Winfield will also broadcast the action on MSU Radio Network and online at www.HailState.com/Plus and the TuneIn app.
Mississippi State clinched a share of the SEC regular-season championship with a dominant 95-50 win at Vanderbilt on Thursday. The victory also secured State the top seed in the SEC Tournament in Nashville.
Thursday's win improved State to 27-0 overall and 13-0 in the league. The 27-straight wins is the longest active win streak in the nation and has MSU as one of two undefeated teams in the country.
Victoria Vivians and Teaira McCowan paced the win at Vanderbilt with 19 points each. They combine to form the top-scoring duo in the SEC, averaging 19.6 and 19.0 ppg, respectively.
McCowan, who has 19 double-doubles on the year, is tied for SEC lead in rebounding with 13.2 rpg.
Ro Johnson and Blair Schaefer also had stellar outings, adding 13 and 12 points, respectively. The duo is among the SEC's 3-point leaders, and they are a combined 64-of-145 (44.1 percent) in league games.
Texas A&M comes into the game 20-7 overall and 9-4 in SEC play after holding off Florida 85-80 on Thursday. Chennedy Carter paces the Aggies' offense with 21.3 ppg.
