No. 14 MSU's match against Pepperdine Sunday was canceled due to wet court conditions.
Sunday's Men's Tennis Match Against Pepperdine Rained Out
February 11, 2018 | Men's Tennis
STARKVILLE, Miss. – Due to persistent rains on Saturday that lasted into Sunday morning, the No. 14 Mississippi State men's tennis team will have to wait a little longer to retake the court at A.J. Pitts Tennis Centre.
The Bulldogs (5-1) were set to face Pepperdine (1-5) at 11 a.m. Sunday, but inclement weather and wet court conditions forced a rainout. As a result, MSU's next home match will mark the beginning of Southeastern Conference play, as it will host Auburn on March 4.
Next Up For MSU…
State will hit the road for a top-25 battle with No. 21 Tulane on Feb. 23. Match time in New Orleans is set for 1 p.m. After returning from the Crescent City, MSU will host Auburn at 1 p.m. on March 4 for its SEC opener.
