
2nd-Ranked Bulldogs Host Kentucky Sunday At Sold-Out Hump

STARKVILLE, Miss. – There's no place like home.
No. 2 Mississippi State seeks to build on its record 25-0 start Sunday as it hosts Kentucky in the program's annual "True Maroon" game.
Fans are asked to wear maroon to the 1 p.m. contest that will be televised nationally on ESPNU. The MSU Radio Network will have the action on stations around the state, and free live audio streams will be available on www.hailstate.com/plus and the TuneIn app.
Sunday's game is officially sold out, with a limited number of seats available for MSU students on a first-come, first-served basis.
In addition to being one of two undefeated teams in the nation, Vic Schaefer's Bulldogs are atop the SEC standings at 11-0 following a 98-50 road win at Florida on Thursday.
Roshunda Johnson paced Thursday's win with 22 points, and Morgan William knocked down 6-of-7 shots for 15 points.
Victoria Vivians, the SEC's third-leading scorer at 19.5 ppg, contributed 17 points against the Gators, and Teaira McCowan notched her 17th double-double of the year with 10 points and 11 rebounds.
Kentucky enters the game 12-13 on the season, 4-7 in SEC play. Maci Morris paces the Wildcats with 15.9 ppg, while Taylor Murray follows with 12.3 ppg.
