BIRMINGHAM, Ala. – On Sunday at the Country Club of Birmingham (CCB) Collegiate Invitational, Mississippi State's Gregor Ramskogler and Stedman Strickland completed the weekend's action with a round of doubles and singles.

Ramskogler finished off his weekend on a three-match win streak after dropping his first-round bout on Friday. In the consolation singles final of the White Draw, Ramskogler ended the event with a solid 6-2, 6-1 triumph over Kentucky's Kevin Humpfner.

In consolation action in the Houndstooth Draw, Strickland saw his weekend finish with a victory as well, claiming a 6-1, 2-0, ret. triumph when Kentucky's Arthur Chen was forced to retire.

The day started in doubles, with Ramskogler and Strickland dropping a tough 8-5 decision to second-seeded Hamish Stewart and Eric Wagner of Tulane in the third-place match of the White Doubles Draw.

Next Up For the Bulldogs …

Three Bulldogs – Niclas Braun, Trevor Foshey and Giovanni Oradini – will head to Surprise, Arizona, for the prestigious Oracle ITA National Fall Championships that runs Nov. 7-11. Seniors Braun and Foshey will be representing the Maroon and White in the 64-player singles draw after finishing in the ITA Southern Regional Championships singles final, with the 109^th-ranked Braun earning a three-set victory over his teammate to claim the title.

Braun and Oradini, the nation's seventh-ranked duo, will team up in doubles after earning an automatic bid by winning the consolation doubles draw at the 2018 ITA All-American Championships.
