- Won both the singles and doubles titles at the 2018 ITA Southern Regional Championships
- Claimed the consolation doubles crown of the 2018 ITA All-American Championships with a three-set victory over teammates and top-ranked Nuno Borges and Strahinja Rakic.

- Also holds top-10 winning spots in career winning % (10th-66.9%), doubles winning % (7th, 66.0%), dual match winning % (69.0%), dual match doubles winning % (67.4%) and career doubles pairing winning % (82.0% w/ Giovanni Oradini)
- Posted 33 wins in doubles as a senior, 32 with Oradini, which ranks third in program history for most doubles wins in a season. Those 32 wins with Oradini are tied for most in program history
- Clinched a team-high seven matches for the Bulldogs, including five in a row from March 2 to March 22.

- Clinched four doubles points with Giovanni Oradini
- Claimed four straight victories to open the dual match slate, including two doubles clinchers.
- Ousted Carlos Hassey and Jonas Ziverts to clinch MSU’s doubles point against Arizona during ITA Kick-Off Weekend (2/27).
- Sealed MSU’s doubles point against Texas Tech (2/8), downing Jackson Cobb and Tommy Mylnikov.
- Took a 6-3 victory against Florida’s Johannes Ingildsen and Alfredo Perez (3/10) to clinch doubles against the Gators.
- Teamed up with Florian Broska to down Jose Alonso and Alex Reco of Arkansas on March 30.
- Earned an at-large bid into the NCAA Doubles Championship with Oradini, earning All-American honors with a run to the semifinals
- During that run, Braun and Oradini earned a 6-4, 6-3 triumph over top-ranked Jimmy Bendeck and Sven Lah of Baylor (5/23) in the quarterfinals

FALL:
- For the second straight year, teamed up with Trevor Foshey to reach the finals of the ITA Southern Regional Championships in doubles
- Went 7-4 in doubles play, going 6-3 in tandem with Trevor Foshey and 1-1 alongside Giovanni Oradini.
- Earned the first national singles ranking of his career on Nov. 15.
SPRING:
- Combined for a 19-5 dual match doubles record, splitting time paired with Trevor Foshey (2-3) and Giovanni Oradini (17-2).
- Clinched nine doubles points for the Bulldogs—two with Foshey and seven with Oradini
- Clinched two wins for the Maroon and White in singles.
- Teamed up with Oradini to take down Florida’s 12th-ranked duo of McClain Kessler and Duarte Vale on March 9.
- Clinched the victory for the Bulldogs on March 9 vs. No. 9 Florida, taking a 6-4, 2-6, 6-1 win against 68th-ranked Duarte Vale—the highest-ranked opponent he has defeated in his career.
- Downed Alabama’s 46th-ranked tandem of Thibault Cancel and Alexey Nesterov on March 16.
- In doubles, Braun and Oradini mounted a 12-match win streak from Feb. 9 to April 13.
- Embarked on a seven-match singles win streak from Feb. 23 to April 7.
- Dominated Ole Miss’s Babic/Kraljevic, 6-1, en route to helping clinch the doubles point for State on April 8
- Dominated SEC competition in doubles, going a perfect 10-0 alongside Oradini
- Won 19 dual matches in doubles competition, tying him for third all-time for dual match doubles wins in a single season.

FALL:
- Finished runner-up at the ITA Southern Regionals with partner Trevor Foshey
- Defeated the 26th and 6th ranked doubles teams over the fall with Foshey
- Won a team-best seven matches with doubles partner Foshey in the fall campaign
- Knocked off one ranked singles player during the fall, after defeating Utah's 103rd ranked David Micevski
- Niclas Braun earned his first ITA National Ranking of his career after claiming the 59th spot in the first doubles ranking of 2017
- With partner Trevor Foshey, ranked as the sixth-best tandem in the Southern Regional before the 2017 season
- In singles action, earned a 16-11 record overall while going 14-9 in dual matches
- Compiled an 8-3 singles record in SEC play, which ranked second on the team
- Braun was a team-best 7-1 overall at the No. 5 spot in singles play
- Braun earned the most wins at the No. 4 spot in singles after posting six at the position
- Clinched two of MSU's wins during the spring over Iowa and Tulane
- Went on a 10-match winning streak in singles play from Feb.19-March 26
- Earned one ranked singles win during the spring, coming against Kentucky's No. 75 Nils Ellefsen (March 18)
- The straight-set win against Ellefsen put the Bulldogs up 2-0 over the Wildcats in Lexington
- In doubles action, Braun and partner Trevor Foshey led the team with a 20-14 record overall
- The duo of Braun and Foshey earned 12 wins in dual-match action as the pair clinched a team-best seven doubles points for the Maroon & White
- The tandem also earned 11 wins over ranked doubles teams with nine of those coming in the spring
- On April 18, the pair of Braun and Foshey broke into the ITA Doubles Top 10 for the first time of their career after building an impressive 16-9 record at the time
- The biggest win of the season for the duo of Braun and Foshey came at the SEC Finals against Georgia's second-ranked pair of No. 2 Loeb/Zielinski (April 30)
- The win over the UGA pair clinched the doubles point and put MSU up 1-0 over UGA in the SEC title match
- The pair of Braun and Foshey climbed to as high as No. 8 overall on May 5 following the win over UGA's No. 2 ranked pair
- The pair was awarded a NCAA Doubles Championship at-large selection, to become MSU's first doubles participant since 2014
- After winning in the first round over Princeton's Day/Gamble, Braun and Foshey became the first MSU doubles team since Jordan Angus and Malte Stropp (2014) to advance to the NCAA Doubles Championship Round of 16
- The No. 13 final ITA doubles ranking for Braun and Foshey was the highest for any Bulldog pair since Marco Baron and Charles Sievigny finished tied for 10th in 2000
- At MSU, only five doubles teams have finished with a higher final ranking than the pair of Braun and Foshey
- Braun and Foshey spent 10 releases in the ITA Doubles Rankings
- The duo of Braun and Foshey capped their sophomore campaign as the top ranked team in the final ITA Southern Region standings
