STARKVILLE — Coming off a 10th place finish, the Mississippi State women's golf team travels to San Jose del Cabo, Mexico to compete in the Battle At The Beach to close out the fall schedule.
The Bulldogs will play 54 holes over three days at the Par-71, 6,202-yard Club Campestre San Jose Golf Club. The field includes fellow SEC competitor No. 23 Auburn in addition to No. 4 Texas, No. 20 Baylor, No. 25 TCU and No. 27 Oklahoma.
The action will begin Friday morning with a shotgun start at 10:30 a.m. CT with the Bulldogs teeing off from holes five through eight.
"We are excited to be provided with this opportunity to play at this beautiful setting," said Coach Ginger Brown-Lemm. "I am looking forward to seeing how our team matches up against a tough field."
Veteran Clara Moyano enters the final fall tournament coming off a top 30 finish in the previous Jim West Challenge.
Freshmen Hannah Levi and Lauren Miller return to Coach Brown-Lemm's lineup card. The freshman duo has played in all four of the Bulldog's fall tournaments this season.
Aubree Jones, a sophomore, will make her fourth appearance of the season on the team's lineup to round out the fall season.
Sophomore Blair Stockett also returns for her fourth outing of the 2018-2019 season.
