STARKVILLE - Week Five of the NFL season has come to a close, and it is time to take a look at how the 21 former Bulldogs who have gone #FromStateToSundays fared.

Defensive tackle Chris Jones and Kansas City turned in a dominating defensive performance in a 30-14 against the Jacksonville Jaguars. Starting for the Chiefs, Jones recorded a tackle and the first pick six of his NFL career, returning an interception for 20 yards and a score. The interception was just the second of Jones' career. Rookie Logan Cooke punted three times for Jacksonville in the contest for a total of 108 yards. Two of Cooke's three punts pinned the Chiefs inside the 20-yard line.

It was an overtime Sunday Night Football showdown for four former Bulldogs as Houston Texans defeated the Dallas Cowboys, 19-16. Linebacker Benardrick McKinney collected a season-high eight tackles and combined for his first sack of the year in the start. Offensive lineman Martinas Rankin and tight end Jordan Thomas both appeared in the contest for Houston with Thomas grabbing an 11-yard reception. Thomas is averaging 22.8 yards per catch over his rookie season. Quarterback Dak Prescott turned in a second straight 200-yard passing performance for Dallas with 208 yards through the air and a touchdown. Prescott added 34 yards rushing in the overtime slugfest.

Darius Slay turned in another lockdown performance at cornerback during the Detroit Lions' 31-23 win against Green Bay. Slay collected five tackles in the start.
