STARKVILLE - Week Four of the NFL season has come to a close, and it is time to take a look at how the 21 former Bulldogs who have gone #FromStateToSundays fared.
Quarterback Dak Prescott squared off against cornerback Darius Slay on Sunday as the Dallas Cowboys and Prescott picked up a 26-24 victory against the Detroit Lions. Prescott closed the game with 255 passing yards and a 118.8 passer rating. Prescott connected on four passes for 20 or more yards, including a 34-yard toss to Ezekiel Elliot that set up the game-winning field goal as time expired. Slay defended three passes for the Lions and collected three tackles in the start.
After missing two games with an ankle injury, defensive end Denico Autry returned with a dominating performance in the Indianapolis Colts' overtime battle with Houston. Autry recorded nine total tackles, two sacks and four tackles for loss in his return to the field. The Houston Bulldog trio of Jordan Thomas, Martinas Rankin and Benardrick McKinney came out with the overtime victory over the Colts to secure the Texans' first win of the season. McKinney collected five tackles in Houston's 37-24 triumph.
On Sept. 25, the Atlanta Falcons announced the signing of Richie Brown to their practice squad, joining fellow former Bulldog Taveze Calhoun.
