Fall World Series on Tap for Baseball

Team Maroon will face Team White in a three-game series at Dudy Noble Field
STARKVILLE – As the weather begins to change, the Mississippi State baseball program will wrap up the fall portion of team practices with the annual Fall World Series starting on Thursday, Oct. 11 at Dudy Noble Field.
The three-game series will kick off at 4 p.m. on Thursday (Oct. 11) and the action continues at 7:30 p.m. on Friday (Oct. 12). The finale will be played at 11:30 a.m. on Saturday (Oct. 13). All three games will consist of seven innings.
Team Maroon will be coached by assistant coach Kyle Cheesebrough, while Team White will be managed by assistant coach Jake Gautreau. Team Maroon will be the home team in the opener, Team White will be the home team in the middle game and a coin flip will determine the home team in the series final.
The starting pitchers for the week will be;
Thursday – Jack Eagan, Jr., LHP (Team White) vs. Peyton Plumlee, Sr., RHP (Team Maroon)
Friday – Keegan James, R-Jr., RHP (Team White) vs. Tyler Spring, Jr., RHP (Team Maroon)
Saturday – Christian MacLeod, Fr., LHP (Team White) vs. Ethan Small, R-Jr., LHP (Team Maroon)
The event is free to attend and fans wishing to attend the games can enter through the Left Field Lounge entrance of Dudy Noble Field, located off of Lakeview Drive. Spectators can sit in the right field section of the Left Field Lounge. No access will be granted to the grandstands during the games.
