MSU Prepares for Loaded Pepsi Relays

GAINESVILLE, Fla. – For the second straight week, the Mississippi State track and field program is in the sunshine state. This time, the Bulldogs will get to compete against the nation's best, with 20 ranked teams in attendance as well as both the men's and women's top ranked programs.

MSU will begin Thursday, with running events beginning at 2 p.m. In the field, its nationally ranked javelin throwers compete at 7 p.m. Nicolas Quijera currently owns the best mark in the conference and fourth best in the nation, and 2016 national champion Curtis Thompson is right on his heels in second in the conference and fifth in the nation.

Portions of Friday and Saturday's action will be live streamed on SEC Network +.

"We are excited to compete in an event of this caliber," MSU coach Steve Dudley said. "There are a ton of really good programs here. This will be a lot of our athletes first competition since indoor, so we are ready for them to get back out and see what they can do."
