MSU Finalizes the fall season in Mexico on Nov. 3.
MSU Women’s Golf Head To Mexico For Final Fall Tourney

STARKVILLE, Miss. – After nearly a month break from tournament play, the Mississippi State women's golf team embarks on foreign soil, as it wraps up the fall season in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico, for the Battle at the Beach.
The Baylor University hosted event is in its' inaugural year and is set to be played at the prestigious Club Campestre San Jose.
The 18-hole championship course contains amazing contrast between desert, ocean and mountains seated at the foothills of the Sierra del la Laguna Mountains, backed up to the Pacific Ocean and Baja California Desert.
"We are looking for a good performance in this last event of the fall," MSU coach Ginger Brown-Lemm said. "Our young squad is playing in a Top 5 event, but we always want to play up and play against the best. Our mission is still to keep learning and growing. The scores will follow if we hold true to our mission."
The 15-team field is littered with talent, including two other Southeastern Conference foes, Auburn and Vanderbilt.
Katie Holt and fellow classmate Kendall Wisenbaker will be joined in Mexico by sophomores Athena Yang, and Clara Moyano along with freshman standout Aubree Jones.
Holt leads the five headed into the weekend, coming off an 8th-place finish at the Magnolia Invite, the Bulldogs' home event hosted at Old Waverly Golf Club in October.
Live stats will be provided via Birdiefire.com, although updates will be sporadic due to the event being non-domestic.
The Bulldogs are set to tee off Friday at 8 a.m.
